Harpist Michael McKay to perform at the Majlis

Join singer/harpist Michael McKay for a evening of Medieval and Renaissance music: songs of love, songs of war; songs sacred and profane…and a few good dance tunes thrown in for good measure. 

The concert will take place on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Majlis Art Garden (163 Walnut Ave., Toronto) at 8:00 PM. 

Admission: $20, payable at the door.

"When heartbreak transforms us into trees, and passion turns us into beasts, how do we love? Of Shapes Transformed by Love imagines daggers in every smile in a world ruled by the wildness of the heart."
